Drive2Detail – Terms & Conditions
-
1. Access Requirements
If agreed, Drive2Detail requires access to one electrical plug socket and a water outlet. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure these are available on-site at the time of service. -
2. Vehicle Condition & Additional Charges
If a customer’s vehicle is heavily soiled with substances such as mud, bodily fluids, pet hair, mould, or other materials requiring extra attention, additional charges may apply. These will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins. -
3. Weather Conditions
Drive2Detail is a mobile business equipped to operate in most weather conditions. However, if weather becomes unsafe or prevents the service from being completed effectively, Drive2Detail reserves the right to reschedule the appointment. -
4. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made no later than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made after this time will be charged the full price of the job, unless otherwise agreed by Drive2Detail. -
5. Personal Belongings
Although great care is taken, Drive2Detail is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal belongings left in the vehicle prior to service. Large or heavy items will not be removed by Drive2Detail. Any areas blocked by such items will not be cleaned unless removed by the customer when requested. -
6. Arrival and Waiting Time
The maximum waiting time upon arrival is 15 minutes from the scheduled job time. If the customer does not show or the vehicle is not made available within this time, Drive2Detail will leave and the full service fee will be charged. -
7. Accuracy of Information
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure all contact details, addresses, and other relevant information provided at the time of booking are complete and accurate. Drive2Detail is not liable for delays, missed appointments, or failure to complete services due to incorrect or incomplete information. In such cases, full payment remains due. -
8. Use of Photographs & Data
Drive2Detail may use photos of vehicles for advertising purposes. Customers who do not wish for their vehicle to be used must inform Drive2Detail in writing before the job is completed. Customer information is used solely for providing detailing/valeting services and will never be shared. -
9. Deposits
Some services may require a deposit at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable. -
10. Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to provide services with care and professionalism, Drive2Detail will only be liable for damage caused by proven negligence during the service. Liability is strictly limited to the total cost of the service provided. Drive2Detail accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage, defects, or indirect losses such as loss of use or income. -
11. Damage Reporting & Burden of Proof
Any damage or concerns must be reported to Drive2Detail within 48 hours of service completion. Reports made after this period will not be considered. The customer is responsible for providing clear evidence that the damage occurred as a direct result of Drive2Detail's service. -
12. Protection Products
Where paint, fabric, soft top, or other protection products are applied, the customer must ensure the vehicle remains dry and undisturbed on the treated areas for the duration specified by Drive2Detail. Drive2Detail is not liable for any failure resulting from failure to follow these instructions. -
13. Maintenance of Applied Protection
Drive2Detail is not responsible for premature failure of protective treatments if the vehicle is not maintained solely and regularly by Drive2Detail. -
14. Pre-Service Vehicle Inspection
Drive2Detail may carry out a visual inspection of the vehicle before work begins and note any visible defects or damage. By proceeding with the service, the customer acknowledges the pre-existing condition of the vehicle. Drive2Detail is not responsible for undisclosed or pre-existing issues. -
15. Delicate or Sensitive Areas
For engine bay cleaning or detailing of sensitive areas (e.g. electrical components, convertible roofs), the customer assumes responsibility unless damage is caused by proven negligence. These areas are cleaned only with prior customer consent. -
16. Adjustments for Additional Work
If additional time or materials are required due to unforeseen vehicle conditions, Drive2Detail reserves the right to adjust the final service price. Customers will be notified and must approve changes before work continues. -
17. Satisfaction & Service Complaints
Customers must raise any concerns about service quality before the detailer leaves. If the customer is not present at completion, photographic evidence may be used to confirm service. Post-completion complaints may not be accepted without such evidence. -
